PRESS: Pristanskov to replace Dergunova as Russia state ppty manager
MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- Former executive of Russian metals producer Norilsk Nickel Dmitry Pristanskov will replace Olga Dergunova as the director of the Federal State Property Management Agency, business daily Kommersant reported Friday, citing several high-ranking government officials.
Pristanskov, 39, is supposed to lead a large-scale privatization to plug budget gaps, a task which Dergunova had refused to fulfill without direct orders by the president or the prime minister, the sources said.
Norilsk Nickel’s Director of Federal and Regional Programs Pristanskov used to be Dergunova’s deputy. He worked in the authority in 2005–2014. He is “a man of the system and a universal employee,” knows the property management authority as an insider, has experience in a large range of questions and is a property management expert unlike Dergunova, whose experience mainly covers the IT sector, the officials said.
